What advice would you give Plain Township and/or Dan Smucker regarding Smucker's barn-like structure being used for basketball, in violation of the township's zoning laws?

ok- na kids need something to do- uh, sure- how about chores ( laugh at the word chores, it went out with buggy whips , but it is a good word that needs a revival) at home, homework, and going to bed- wow, does this make me seem old or what!!!!!! how can any kids afford starbucks? maybe the parents need a swift kick in the tush as well- affording starbucks is just stupid silly- any kid with that kind of money should be saving for college- i go back to my other blog- the school needs to be teaching BUDGET 101 - oh, wait- how can they teach what they themselves may not know? remember it is "only" 50 thousand dollars for another group to tell us how to move forward- and it IS in the , hack cough, budget- just because it is there doens't mean it should be spent- back to starbucks~ gee, what a concept- saving-

I'd look into all the contractors and find out why they didn't pull permits. Don't contractors pull permits not residents. If Smucker is such a bad guy does this mean the contractors are complicit. Why didn't any of them pull permits?

This issue highlights the fact that NA kids need something to do after school besides go to Starbucks!

Either that or school doesn't need to end at 2pm or thereabouts!

New Albany History

The Plain Township and New Albany area was settled in 1810 by Noble Landon, who moved to central Ohio from St. Albans, Vt.
Almost 30 years later, Landon and William Yantes of Maryland laid out the village of New Albany, which was centered around Landon’s tavern and inn on High and Main streets.
The village, which had a population of about 50, was chartered in 1856.
In the 1990s, local businessman and philanthropist Les Wexner moved to New Albany with the vision of good schools, recreational spaces and detailed community planning.
He formed the New Albany Co. to oversee land purchases and development to ensure a steady commercial tax base for the village and the New Albany-Plain Local School District.
Today, New Albany is home to over 7,000 people, and Plain Township has over 800 households.
The New Albany Business Park hosts some of the nation’s biggest companies, such as Abercrombie and Fitch, Tween Brands, American Electric Power and Commercial Vehicle Group.
The New Albany-Plain School District, which covers 26 square miles of New Albany, Plain Township and a portion of Columbus, has been rated “excellent” by the Ohio Department of Education for the last three years.
